Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
116 sells traditional Singapore meat rice, noodles and roasted delicacies. I have tried their char siew and roasted pork rice for dinner.
Some char slices were soft and tender while certain portions were rough and tough (no consistency). Roasted pork was delicious and juicy. Pork skin was crispy, delicious, nicely roasted but not too oily or salty (major plus points). Rice was well cooked and did not have sticky issues. Chili was hot but too sourish for my liking.
In a nutshell, their food was economical, tasty and had a few flaws that prevented me from visiting them in the near future. If you are a meat lover living near Chinatown, 116's roasted pork is recommended by my website.
