My opinion:

Heng Li means "forever profits" in Chinese. This Haig Road hawker stall sells traditional Singapore char siew rice, fried bee hoon, nasi lemak and roasted delicacies. For this food review, I have tried their nasi lemak set for lunch. There were egg, fried chicken, ikan billis and moderate amount of rice in my takeaway packet.

Egg was fragrant, soft and well cooked (plus point for old people). Fried chicken was big, crispy and warm (the best I had tasted since having Yan Fried Bee Hoon's fried chicken wings). Ikan bilis was not crispy and slightly rough on my mouth. Rice did not have sticky problems and had a mild coconut milk flavor. Chili was hot and sticky, just nice for nasi lemak.

In conclusion, the food here was addictive, delicious and economical. If you are a nasi lemak fan, bookmark this page and visit Heng Li in your family outings.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, they are strongly applauded for their service to local residents and are advised to continue their good work. Second, review the ikan billis' preparation process.
