My opinion:

Hong sells traditional Singapore Chinese noodles and roasted delicacies. For this review, I have tried out their char siew and roasted pork rice for lunch.

There were 8 pieces of roasted pork, 7 slices of char siew and huge amount of rice in my takeaway portion. Roasted pork was delicious and not too oily or salty. Pork skin was addictive and crispy. Although char siew slices were juicy and tender, they were also too small sized and thin.

Rice was well cooked and did not have sticky issues. The amount of rice was enough to satisfy the hunger of 2 children! Sweet black sauce was too watery and did not mix well with the rice. Red chili was hot and spicy enough to add a few bonus points to the food.

In conclusion, the food here was economical, plentiful and would have gotten a higher rating if the owners were not so stingy on the char siew meat. Therefore, I will only recommend this stall to meat fans living in the surrounding neighborhood as there are too many better alternatives in Bedok Interchange Food Centre.
