My opinion:

This coffee shop stall sells traditional Singapore duck rice and kway chap. I have tried out their kway chap set meal for lunch.

There were 6 slices of pig intestines, 6 pieces of pork meat, 2 pieces of pork skin, 6 pieces of tau kwa, 8 pieces of tau pok and moderate amount of rice sheets in my food portion. There was no marinated egg.

Pig intestines were chewy, delicious but had too many fatty portions. Pork meat and skin were addictive, juicy, tender but the portions were too miserly. Tau kwa was average tasting and not properly marinated. Tau pok was tasty and soak up on the goodness of the braising stock. Braising stock tasted a bit like traditional Chinese herbal medicine (could be a severe minus point depending on individual tastes).

Rice sheets were silky, smooth and combined nicely with the other food items. The soup was flavorful, not too oily or salty and had a mild herbal taste.

In conclusion, the food here was cheap but average tasting and lacking in essential ingredients. The friendly female owner was strongly advised to add at least 2 more slices of pig intestines and half a marinated egg to the food.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Thoroughly wash the pig intestines and add more food ingredients for future customers.
