Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
Pan means "utensils" in Chinese. This Yuhua Market hawker stall specializes in traditional Singapore Chinese noodles. For this 2016 food review, my mother and I have tasted their dumpling noodles for $3.00. There were 4 dumplings and huge amount of noodles in our takeaway packet.
Dumplings were large sized and came with silky smooth skin. Although we found pork and shrimp meat inside the dumplings, chestnut was considered "missing in action" (minus point).
Noodles were plentiful and could satisfy the hunger of 2 young children. Noodle sauce was too oily, did not combine well with the other ingredients and single-handedly pulled down the food ratings. Chili was too little and "weak" to add any last minute bonus points to the food's flavor.
To sum up, the food here was unhealthy and unable to satisfy our weekly craving for dumpling noodles. Unless you are a hardcore fan of Chinese noodles, our advice is to give this stall a miss and visit other food alternatives in the same hawker centre.
