My opinion:

Aunty Oats specializes in traditional Singapore vegetarian pancakes. Some of the pancakes made by this stall are pretty hard to find in other Singapore hawker centres. A few examples are cheese, chocolate, coffee, lotus paste, pandan and salted bean pancakes.

For this food review, we picked pancakes of chocolate, peanut and red bean flavors. The cost was $2.70 ($0.90 each) which was quite expensive considering the small sizes of the pancakes.

Their version of pancakes were extremely moist, soft and different from the crispy ones that their rivals sold (may be a minus or plus point depending on individual taste). Chocolate and red bean paste were not too sweet or thick. Peanuts were fine and not crunchy enough. All 3 of them were not fragrant and lacked oat taste.

In conclusion, the food items here were average tasting, small and slightly more costly than other hawker pancakes. Therefore, we will only recommend Aunty Oats to hardcore pancake lovers or fans of vegetarian food.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Increase the size of all the pancakes.
