My opinion:

168 means "smooth sailing success" in Chinese. This stall is a newcomer to Old Airport Road Food Centre and specializes in traditional Singapore curry meals. For this food review, I decided to try out their curry chicken for lunch.

I could not believe what I saw when the friendly male owner handed over the food to me. There were 5 potato slices, 3 full chicken wings and huge amount of rice. The male owner even asked me whether I wanted more rice! Oh mine, this huge amount of food could satisfy the hunger of 2 adults.

All the chicken meat was juicy, tender and came with silky smooth skin. Potato slices were huge, well cooked and not too tough. Although rice did not have sticky problems, it was too dry and rough (adding curry could alleviate this problem). Curry was not too hot, mild tasting, oily or salty, perfect for rice meals. People who prefer sourish or thick curry may be in for disappointment.

In conclusion, the food here was economical, shiok and made me felt like a "fat pig" after eating. If you are a curry rice fan and have a huge appetite, 168 is highly recommended by my website.
