My opinion:
Guang Fa means "enormous amount of prosperity" in Chinese. This stall specializes and excel in traditional Singapore laksa. Customers get to chose the small $2.50 small option or the $3.00 big option for their laksa meals. For this food review, I have tried the small option for breakfast.
There were 7 cockles, 7 slices of fish cakes, 3 pieces of tau pok and moderate amount of rice noodles in my food portion. Cockles were huge, soft and juicy. Fish cakes and tau pok were delicious and "soaked up" the goodness of the laksa soup. Laksa soup was flavorful, thick, not too oily or salty and mixed well with the well cooked rice noodles. Chili was robust, sticky and made the soup even more fragrant.
In conclusion, the food here was cheap, shiok, tasty and value for money. The male owner is strongly recommended to continue his good work and add 2 more tau pok pieces to his food. I will also visit his stall regularly to check for consistency. If you are a laksa fan, Guang Fa is highly recommended by my website.
