My opinion:

He Shun means "peace and smooth sailing" in Chinese. This stall sells traditional Singapore fish soup and seafood. For this food review, I have tried their sliced fish soup with rice for lunch. There were 8 fish slices, 3 pieces of fried fish skin, 1 bowl of soup and 1 bowl of rice in my food portion.

Fish slices were delicious, fresh, juicy, medium sized and succulent (major plus points). Fried fish skin was crispy, crunchy and tasted like a snack. Besides the sliced fish meat, the soup had bitter gourd, doufu, seaweed and tomato slices as ingredients. It was invigorating, plentiful and filled with veggie goodness. The only problem was that my tongue could hardly detect the fish taste. Rice was well cooked and did not have any roughness or sticky issues.

To sum up, the food here was economical, tasty and had a few flaws that prevented this stall from greatness. If you are fish soup fan living in Bedok South, the food here should be able to satisfy your hunger and craving for cheap seafood.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Make sure the soup's fish taste is not overwhelmed by the veggie taste.
