My opinion:

Mi Xiang Yuan means "garden of fragrant rice". This stall is a newcomer to Bedok North Block 216 Food Centre. The owners sell traditional Singapore fried bee hoon and nasi lemak. For this food review, I have tried their nasi lemak Set A for lunch.

There were 1 fried chicken wing, 1 fried egg, ikan bilis and moderate amount of rice in my food portion. The auntie also gave me a small amount of ah zha because she was about to close for business. This friendly gesture did gain a few bonus points for their service section.

Let's move on to the food quality. Fried chicken wing and ikan bilis were average tasting and not crispy or warm enough. Fried egg was delicious, soft and well fried. Although the rice was well cooked, its coconut milk fragrance was extremely mild. Chili was robust, not too spicy and mixed well with the other food items.

To sum up, the food here was economical, plentiful and had a few minor flaws that prevented this stall from greatness. Therefore, I will only recommend Mi Xiang Yuan to foodies living in Bedok North as there are too many good nasi lemak alternatives throughout Singapore.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, ensure the crispiness and warmth of the food items. Second, use more coconut milk in the rice's preparation process.
