My opinion:

My family and I are all fans of this Bedok North hawker stall. The owners are always friendly and smiling. According to a local Chinese newspaper, their mee siam is ranked among the top 10 in Singapore. The soup is extremely addictive, slightly sweet and mix flawlessly with the other ingredients. Its unique taste is oriented more towards the Chinese market. If you want a spicier version, remember to ask the owners for more chili.

Besides mee siam, Nian Kern Yee also sell mee rebus with fragrant thick gravy. All their dishes come with a full egg and a piece of tau pok. The two small complaints I have with the food quality are the soft mee rebus noodles and that the tau pok pieces should be cut into smaller portions.

Nian Kern Yee usually has a queue of more than 5 people but due to the fast service of the owners, customers will be served their orders within 10 minutes.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, reduce the amount of time in cooking the mee rebus. Second, cut the tau pok into smaller pieces.
