Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
Ann Chin stands for "safe" and "precious" in Chinese. They have been selling nyonya kueh pie tie and popiah since 1940s. My mother and I have tried 2 of their popiah rolls for dinner.
The popiah skin was homemade and the finishing touches were done in front of customers. This ensured the food items were as fresh as possible. Although popiah skin was not too thick and did not tear apart easily, it was too dry and rough. More food ingredients (mang kuang) and sauce should also be added to their popiahs. Honestly, we could get fatter and tastier popiahs for a cheaper price in Singapore east.
