Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives

 My opinion:

Zheng Guang sells traditional dumpling and wanton noodles and have been featured in numerous Mediacorp programs including "Makan Places Lost and Found 5". I have tried their wanton noodles for $3.00 and was sad to say that the media attention was too much.

The owners were generous with ingredients. They gave me 4 steamed wantons, 6 pieces of char siew and moderate amount of noodles. The wantons and char siew were average and mild tasting. Char siew had a lot of fatty portions (may be a plus point for people looking for unhealthy food). Noodles were tasteless and devoid of noodle or tomato sauce. Red chili was extremely "weak" to add any bonus points to the food.

The moral of the story? Never trust those television programs! I have visited almost all the stalls praised by Mediacorp. You know what? More than 70 percent of them are average tasting. There is a small 10 percent which cannot even make the grade.
