My opinion:

0199 Cooked Food serves traditional Singapore porridge and many Bedok North residents are their fans. There is always a queue of at least 3 to 5 person in front of their stall. They are just beside Nian Kern Yee (famous for their mee rebus and mee siam) as well, just in case you cannot find them.

For this review, I have tasted their pork porridge for breakfast. The porridge was a bit gluey and sticky for me (which can be a plus point for those people who adores sticky porridge). Pork meat balls were tasty but moderate in size. Fish meat was average tasting, bland and nothing too special. The owners are also generous in giving out slices of salted egg, which means you do not need to put too much pepper or soy sauce in your porridge.

To sum up, 0199 Cooked Food was fulfilling but had significant flaws that prevented me from coming back in 6 months' time. The owners are strongly advised to solve the sticky porridge problem and add more meat balls to their food.
