My opinion:

Soon Soon Heng means "smooth sailing rise" in Chinese. This Bugis hawker stall sells traditional Singapore bak kut teh and hor fun. For this food review, I have tried their signature fried wanton hor fun for lunch.

When I reached home to check my goodies, I was stunned by the generosity of the owners. There were 8 fried wantons and huge amount of hor fun in my food portion. Fried wantons were addictive, crispy, crunchy, warm and not too oily or salty (major plus points). Hor fun was silky smooth and mixed well with the other food ingredients. The gravy was flavorful, not too watery and had a mild vinegar fragrance.

In conclusion, the food here was delicious, economical, heavenly, plentiful and savory. If you are a foodie "hunting" for good hor fun bargains, Soon Soon Heng is a definite "must visit" in your food adventures around Singapore south.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, they are strongly applauded for their service to both Singaporeans and foreign tourists. Second, the owners are advised to continue their good work. I will visit them regularly to check for consistency. Third, set up a free Facebook website to promote their food products.
