My opinion:

Yuan Ji Fried Carrot Cake is very famous in Bugis and Rochor areas for its crispy fried carrot cakes. The uncle is extremely hardworking, most of time he is the only person tending the stall. This may lead to super long queues especially during lunch time peak hours.

For this review, I have tasted their white fried carrot cake for breakfast. Although the food is crispy and fragrant, there are some portions that are over fried and too salty.

Chili is not hot or spicy, which is a major minus point for me. Since Yuan Ji is one of a few fried carrot cake stalls in the food centre, I will only recommend it to people having a large gathering of relatives or friends.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Do not over fry the carrot cake and reduce the amount of oil used in the food's cooking process.
