Reputation: Traditional Singapore Fish Soup, Seafood and Zhu Chao
Thoughts after eating: Cheap and good
Value for money: 80/100
Will I come back in 6 months' time? Yes
My opinion:
This Bugis hawker stall sells traditional Singapore seafood and zhu chao meals. For this food review, my mother and I have tasted their fried fish soup for lunch. There were 8 pieces of fried fish, 1 bowl of soup and 1 bowl of rice in our food portion.
The sizes of the fried fish ranged from medium to big. Although the fried fish pieces were addictive, fresh, juicy, silky smooth, soft and tender, they were too "healthy", not crispy enough and lacked the fried taste.
Despite having doufu, fried fish, tomato slices and veggies as ingredients, the soup was milky, slightly too salty and had a powerful ginger taste. As we tasted the soup more, our tongues could only detect a very weak fish taste. Rice was well cooked and did not have dryness, roughness or sticky issues.

In conclusion, the food here was cheap, delicious and had a few minor flaws that prevented this stall from greatness. If you are a fish soup fan who values fish meat over soup taste, Zhu Chao Mini Wok should be able to satisfy both your craving and hunger for seafood.
