My opinion:
This Bedok North coffee shop stall sells traditional Singapore Korean and Japanese food. For this food review, I have tried their Japanese chicken cutlet rice for lunch. There were 9 chicken cutlets, salad with sauce, 1 bowl of soup and 1 bowl of rice in my food portion.
Chicken cutlets were juicy, tender, well marinated and came with crispy skin. Salad with sauce was so miserly that a child can finish it in less than 20 seconds! Soup was also a severe letdown as it was too plain tasting and lacked seaweed ingredients. Pearl rice was not fragrant and too sticky for my liking.
To sum up, their chicken cutlet rice had delicious and savory meat but average tasting side ingredients. The owners are advised to add more sauce, salad and seaweed to their food. If you are a fan of crispy chicken meat, I will highly recommend this stall to you. For nit picky Japanese food lovers (such as me), I will suggest you give this stall a miss.
