My opinion:

Long Ji means "stall of the dragons" in Chinese. The owners sell traditional Singapore beverages, desserts, grass jelly and soya products. For this review, I decided to taste their grass jelly and soya drink for breakfast.

Although the price was cheap, I was given the drink in a huge plastic cup filled with only a few ice cubes (not "watered down"). Grass jelly ingredients were finely cut and plentiful.

Instead of one taste being dominant or overwhelming, the owners were experienced and skilful enough that the grass jelly taste complemented the soya taste nicely. The amount of sweet syrup was also kept to a bare minimum (major plus points). Soya taste was sweet and thick (this type of quality was rarely found in Singapore hawker stalls).

To sum up, the drinks here were cheap, refreshing and had original tastes. If you are having meals at Tiong Bahru, Long Ji is strongly recommended by my website.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

They are applauded for their good service to local residents and are advised to keep up the good work. I will also visit them regularly to check for consistency.
