My opinion:

Kim Lee Carrot Cake sells traditional fried carrot cakes and is in stiff competition with Shun Li (stall 25) in the same hawker centre. Customers can choose the $3.00 or $4.00 options for their fried carrot cakes. I do not recommend the $4.00 option because the owners are very generous in food ingredients. A $3.00 plate of fried carrot cake can satisfy the hunger of an adult and a child.

The food is prepared by experienced hands. The carrot cakes are home made and this ensures the consistently high standards of the food. Their carrot cakes are cooked with chai poh (radish) and then sprinkled with onions. The food has a mild bitter, chao tah (over fried) and sourish taste. The uncle is also skilful enough not to use excessive oil on cooking the food.
