My opinion:

This New Market Road food stall sells traditional Singapore Chinese and Korean cuisine. For this food review, I have tried their chicken chop and salmon rice (set 1) for lunch. There were 6 pieces of chicken chop, 1 piece of salmon fish meat, 10 lettuce slices, 5 pao cai slices, 1 bowl of soup and moderate amount of pearl rice in my food portion.

Chicken chop pieces were firm, juicy, medium sized and would have taste much better had the owners made the meat sauce tastier. Salmon fish meat was delicious, healthy and tender. The highly prized salmon fish skin was considered "missing in action". Lettuce slices and pao cai slices were appetizing, crunchy and fresh.

Although the pearl rice did not suffer from sticky problems, it was a bit too bland and dry. Soup was fragrant, rejuvenating, soothing, warm and could be a good substitute for unhealthy sweet syrup drinks.

In conclusion, the food here was economical, up to snuff and had a few minor flaws that prevented the owners from greatness. If you are a fan of Chinese or Korean cuisine, this stall should be able to satisfy your craving for a reasonable price.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Introduce salmon fish skin as a food ingredient and review the pearl rice's preparation process.
