My opinion:

Jia Jia Economic Rice sells traditional Singapore mixed vegetable rice. You can get the usual chicken, curry, egg, fish, luncheon meat, pork and vegetable food items here. If you look around this stall, it is not hard to see at least another 3 or 4 curry rice or mixed vegetable rice stalls. The competition is so fierce but they usually sell out their food items by 2 p.m! In fact, some of their most popular food items can be sold out after 1 p.m (lunch peak hour).

I have tried their mixed vegetable rice for $3.00. It contained curry chicken, fatty pork meat and vegetables. I could tell you it was close to impossible to find any major flaw with the food. The owners were very generous in giving out food ingredients. The curry was flavorful and thick. Fatty pork meat was delicious but not too salty. Vegetables were addictive and chewy (almost sold out!). If you are a mixed vegetable fan or someone who wants good food at bargain prices, you really to bookmark this webpage. This is one of many food "diamonds" that I discovered in Sims Vista Market and Food Centre.
