Thoughts after eating: Average
Value for money: 70/100
Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
Wei
Tong means "maintaining smooth passage" in Chinese. This hawker stall
specializes in traditional Singapore fried food. For this food review,
my mother and I have tried their white fried carrot cake for lunch.
Their
carrot cake was not fragrant or thoroughly fried. The small amount of
cai pok did not mix well with the other ingredients and make the food
bitter tasting.
To
sum up, the food here was cheap, fulfilling but had a few small flaws
that prevented us from visiting them in the near future. Unless you are a
fried food fan living or working near Chinatown, our advice is to
ignore this stall and visit other alternatives in nearby coffee shops or
hawker centres.
