My opinion:
Tan Song Heng specializes in traditional Singapore fried food. For this review, I have tried their fried kway teow for my lunch.
The owners were extremely generous in cockle and kway teow ingredients. My takeaway portion was enough to satisfy the hunger of 2 children. This was also the least oily fried kway teow that I have ever tasted in Southeast Asia (a major plus point). Yet, the food was still extremely addictive and delicious.
The chili was hot but not to the extent of torturing your taste buds. The food would have at least a rating of 90/100 if they had not saved up on egg ingredients.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
Add some egg ingredients to the food.
