My opinion:

Cityzoom sells traditional Singapore fishball and minced meat noodles. The owners use fish instead of pork as the minced meat ingredients. For this ood review, I have tried out their fishball and minced meat meepok for lunch.

The owners were very generous in giving out ingredients. There were 3 fishballs, 3 pieces of fish cakes, 1 piece of fried fish, minced fish meat and moderate amount of meepok in my food portion. All this goodness for the bargain price of a few dollars!

Fishballs were fresh, huge, juicy and "QQ". Fishcakes were also big sized and had small amount of chili and vegetable bits embedded in them. The lone fried fish was crispy, crunchy, hot and not too oily or salty. Minced fish meat was few in portions and too mild tasting to add any bonus points to the food.

Meepok was silky, smooth and mixed nicely with the other food ingredients. Although the chili was hot and spicy, I detected a mild sourish taste in it (the food's only minus point). Soup did not taste like plain water and had a strong fish taste (could be a minus or plus point depending on individual tastes).

In conclusion, the food was heavenly tasting and probably the biggest noodles bargain I had found in recent years. The owners are highly applauded for their dedication and hard work. I cannot believe that mediocre wanton noodles stalls are stealing the limelight from real food "diamonds" such as Cityzoom. This stall is highly recommended by my website. I will also visit them regularly to check for consistency.
