My opinion:
This stall is very famous in the Central Business District for its nasi lemak meals. For this food review, I have tried their most popular nasi lemak set A for lunch and was sad to say that the hype was too much.
The owners were very generous in giving out food ingredients. I was given 1 cucumber slice, 1 egg slice, 1 fried chicken thigh, 1 fish nugget and ikan bilis with pandan rice. Egg slice was average tasting and small. Fried chicken thigh was cold and could be rough or tough at times.
Chicken skin was not crispy and wore off easily. Fish nugget was also cold but tasted much better than the chicken meat. Ikan bilis was not crispy and did not mixed well with the chili or rice. Pandan rice was fluffy, soft and devoid of coconut milk or pandan fragrance. The small amount of chili was also unable to gain last minute bonus points for the food.
This was my first time visiting this stall so this may be an unlucky day for me. I will advise the owners to add more chili and reheat the food items or rice once every hour.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
First, ensure the crispiness and warmth of the food items. Second, review the rice's preparation process. Third, add more chili for future customers.
