My opinion:

Tang Shifu sells traditional Singapore dim sum, herbal soup, chicken rice and pork rib rice. In fact, this is the only stall in the entire hawker centre that still cooks herbal chicken and pork ribs (monopoly). For this food review, I have tried their chicken and lar cheong rice for lunch.

The owners were stingy in giving out food ingredients. I was given 1 medium sized chunk of chicken meat, 5 slices of lar cheong with rice. Chicken meat was juicy and tender. The small amount lar cheong was unable to add much bonus points to the food. In the past, there was a large chunk of vegetables and in 2015, it was "missing in action".

Rice was well cooked and had a thin layer of soy sauce on top of it. My mother wanted to cry after eating this kind of rice. Why? It reminded her of her childhood where my grandparents were poor and saved money by feeding the children with rice sprinkled with soy sauce.

In the past, I remembered this stall always had a long queue and an "army" of loyal followers. Nowadays, I often saw the owners "slap flies" during peak hours. If the owners want more fans and business, please add more food ingredients and give us a packet of garlic chili instead of soy sauce with red chili slices.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, give customers back their "beloved" veggies. Second, add more meat ingredients. Third, use a different kind of chili as the current version is not suitable for rice meals.
