My opinion:

Nan He stands for "southern harmony" or "southern peace" in Chinese. This Beach Road hawker stall sells traditional Singapore fried bee hoon, dumpling noodles and wanton noodles. For this food review, I have tried their wanton noodles for lunch and was highly impressed. The owners were generous in giving out food ingredients. There were 5 steamed wantons, 6 slices of char siew, and moderate amount of noodles in my takeaway packet.

Wantons were chewy and delicious. The wanton skin was not too thick and did not tear apart easily. Char siew was juicy and tender but did not have charred or fatty portions. Noodles were fragrant, "QQ" and bathed in thick sauce. The owners did not save up on green chili slices and even added 2 small pieces of pork lard to the food (do not eat pork lard if you are having health problems). I deducted some points for their red chili sauce as it was too hot and "powerful" for my tongue.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Review the chili's preparation process.
