My opinion:

Zhong Xin sells traditional Singapore ban mian and noodles. For this food review, I have tried their prawn noodles for lunch. There were 2 prawns, 6 pork slices, egg vegetables, ikan bilis and huge amount of noodles in my food portion.

The noodles were rough, sticky and did not mix well with the sauce. Noodle sauce was thick but too salty. Prawns were average in size and the owners did not remove the shell or "yucky" stuff. Pork slices were delicious, juicy and tender. Egg cooked with vegetables were addictive, soft and did not have a pungent taste. The ikan bilis was cold and not crispy. Chili was hot and sticky enough to add a few bonus points to the food. I will only recommend their food to ban mian and noodle fans who have large appetites.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Review the preparation process of both the noodles and sauce.
