My opinion:
Xian Cheng means "fresh success" in Chinese. The owners sell a wide range of traditional Singapore Chinese breakfast items, dim sum, kuehs and desserts. This stall is also one of the newcomers to the renovated Bedok Interchange Food Centre. For this food review, I have tried their chee cheong fun (rice noodle roll) and soya bean curd for breakfast.
The owners were stingy in giving out ingredients for both food items. Chee cheong fun was dry, rough and awkward to bite. The food lacked red chili and sweet soy sauce. There were no green chili slices either.
Soya bean curd was plain tasting and would benefit with a few teaspoons of sweet syrup. In terms of texture, this dessert was not too smooth or soothing for my throat. Therefore, I will advise my blog readers to be cautious with this stall. Try a few of their food items first before bulk ordering from the owners.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
Review the food's preparation process and give customers more ingredients.
