Will I come back again in 6 months' time? Yes
My opinion:
This Bedok Interchange hawker stall sells traditional Singapore Muslim cuisine including mee goreng and nasi padang. For this food review, I have tasted their lontong for lunch.
There were 8 rice cakes, 8 cabbage slices, 5 carrot slices, 1 full egg, 1 bowl of curry and small amount of coconut bits in my food portion. Rice cakes were soft and mixed flawlessly with the other ingredients. Veggie slices were chewy, fresh, healthy and tasty. Egg was well cooked and did not have a pungent taste. Curry was addictive, appetizing, hot, spicy and one of the best that I have tasted in recent months (major plus points). Coconut bits were crunchy and added more flavor to the already excellent dish.
In conclusion, the food here was economical, heavenly and could satisfy my weekly craving for lontong. If you are a Muslim food fan living in Singapore east, Merah Delima Stall should be high on your "must visit" list.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
They are strongly applauded for their service to local residents and are advised to continue the good work. I will visit them regularly to check for consistency.
