Will I come back again in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
This Bedok North shop stall specializes in traditional Singapore bakery products. For this food review, my mother and I have tried out their coffee boy bun and doughnut stick.
Coffee boy bun:
The bakery product was average tasting and had zero coffee taste. Paste was salty, too little and did not mix well with the bun. Honestly, I had to drink a cup of coffee in order to "wash" off the weird taste after finishing my food portion.
Doughnut stick:
There were 5 mini doughnuts connected together by a small wooden stick. Every single one of them was coated with a thin layer of sugar. No "wow" factors and too plain tasting for most Singaporeans.
In conclusion:
The food here was cheap but average tasting. Unless you are a hardcore bakery fan living or working in Singapore east, our advice is to give this stall a miss and travel to Bedok Interchange or Bedok Mall for better quality food.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
Add more ingredients and bake the food products for a longer duration.
