My opinion:
Xin He Ji sells traditional Singapore fried food. My mother and I have tried their hokkien noodles for $4.80. We were given 2 prawns and moderate amount of noodles. Prawns were big, delicious and fresh (major plus points). The owners did not remove the shells and "yucky" stuff. There were no egg, fish cakes, pork meat or sotongs. Noodles were average tasting, oily and not properly fried. Chili was plentiful but too "weak" to add any last minute bonus points to the food.
In conclusion, the food was average tasting and expensive. I could get a plate of hokkien noodles at most Bedok hawker stalls for $3.00 to $3.50. The owners are strongly advised to add a few slices of fish cakes or sotong to the food and use a new version of red chili. Noodles should also be cooked on the spot and not precooked for future customers.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
Add more ingredients and check taste their chili before serving to customers.
