My opinion:

Yu Jia Chun means "Village of fishermen" in Chinese. The owners specialize and excel in traditional Singapore seafood. For this 2015 food review, I have tried their fried fish soup with rice.
There were 6 pieces of fish meat, 1 bowl of soup and 1 bowl of rice in my food portion.

Fish pieces ranged from medium to big sized. They were juicy, soft, succulent, tender and well fried (major plus points). Honestly, it had been a long time since I have so thoroughly enjoyed eating fried fish meat.

Besides the fish meat, the soup also contained bitter gourd, lettuce, seaweed and tomato slices. It was addictive, fragrant, mildly sweet and tasty. In fact, it was one of the best hawker centre fish soup that I have tasted in recent years (2013, 2014 and 2015).

In conclusion, their fish soup was cheap, delicious and made me craved for more seafood after finishing my food portion. If you are a fish soup fan living in Singapore east, bookmark this webpage and pay them a visit soon.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, they should continue their good work in order to win more business and fans. Second, they can consider adding one or two pieces of fish meat to their food.
