My opinion:

Chef Hong sells traditional Asian bakery products and buns. For this food review, my mother and I have tasted their black sesame bun and kaya pandan bun.

Both buns were pretty big sized but were not fragrant enough. Black sesame bun was a real letdown as the paste was ashy, awkwardly tasting and salty. The black sesame seeds also came off way too easily. Kaya pandan bun fared slightly better with sweeter and thicker paste.

In a nutshell, the food here was cheap but average tasting. Unless you live near this stall (or its branches) and need to stock up on breakfast items, our advice is to give this stall a miss and travel to nearby hawker centres for tastier food.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, the preparation process of the black sesame bun paste need to be thoroughly reviewed. Second, bake the food items for a longer duration.
