My opinion:

The coffee shop stall sells traditional Singapore char siew rice, chicken rice, duck rice, roasted delicacies and wanton noodles. For this food review, my mother and I have tried their char siew and roasted pork rice for lunch. There were 8 pieces of char siew, 8 pieces of roasted pork and moderate amount of rice in our takeaway packet.

Char siew was not properly roasted and had a few charred or fatty portions. Roasted pork was lean, small sized and lacked the "wow" factor. Pork skin was rough and not crispy enough.

Rice was well cooked and did not have any dryness or roughness problems. The black sauce was not flavorful, sweet or thick for meat rice meals. Chili was hot, spicy and "powerful" enough to prevent the food from a worse rating.

In a nutshell, the food here was average tasting and unable to satisfy our weekly craving for roasted delicacies. Unless you are an Eunos meat rice fan, our advice is to give this stall a miss and visit other food alternatives in Eunos Crescent hawker centre.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, roast the meat items for a longer duration. Second, cut out the charred and fatty portions from the char siew meat. Third, make the sweet black sauce thicker.
