My opinion:
Hwa Chong means "heart of China" in Chinese. This Bedok North hawker stall specializes in traditional Singapore seafood. For this review, I have tried their fried fish soup with rice for lunch. There are 7 pieces of fried fish, 1 bowl of soup and 1 bowl of rice in my food portion.
Although the fried fish pieces were big sized, they were cold, not crispy, too salty and did not have enough meat (too much flour was used). Soup was healthy, fragrant, invigorating, warm and filled with veggie goodness. Rice was well cooked and did not suffer from dryness, roughness or sticky issues.
To sum up, the soup here was good but the fish meat was average tasting. Unless you are a hardcore seafood fan living in Bedok, my advice is to visit tastier alternatives in nearby coffee shops.

Im pretty offended by your 华中 meaning heart of china thing. Its hwa chong, like the school in singapore.
