My opinion:

Xin Tian Cheng was originally located opposite Simei MRT. They have recently moved to Bedok and sells traditional Singapore mixed vegetable rice. Their food is really cheap and good. You can get 1 vegetable and 2 meat items with rice for around $3.50.

Their food items are not too oily or salty. Rice is usually well cooked and does not have any sticky problems. The only small complaint I have is probably the vegetables' bland taste (which can be a plus point for people looking for healthy or mild tasting food).
