My opinion:

Xiaodi means "little brother" in Chinese. The owners specialize in traditional Singapore Chinese noodles. For this food review, My mother I have tried their fishball noodles for lunch. There were 3 fishballs, 1 fish dumplings, 6 slices of fish cakes and moderate amount of mee pok in our takeaway packet.

Although the fishballs were fresh, juicy and springy, they were too small sized to exploit on this plus point. Fish dumpling skin was rough and did not mix well with the meat ingredients. Fish cakes were soft, tasty and did not have a pungent smell.

Mee pok was fragrant, silky smooth and mixed well with the other ingredients. Chili was either too mild tasting or "washed away" by the noodle sauce.

To sum up, the food here was cheap, good and had a few flaws that prevented this stall from greatness. If you are a Chinese noodles fan who is not too nit picky, Xiaodi should be able to satisfy your stomach and craving for fishball noodles.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, increase the size of the fishballs. Second, review the preparation process of the fish dumplings. Third, use a hotter and thicker red chili sauce for their food.
