My opinion:

This coffee shop stall sells traditional Singapore Thai cuisine. Their signature pork knuckle rice costs $5.00. There is also an additional cost of $0.20 for each container. I decided to try out this meat rice for dinner. There were moderate amount of egg, pork knuckle meat, salted vegetables and rice in my takeaway portion.

The miserly half an egg was not properly marinated and had a mild herbal taste. Pork knuckle meat was dry, rough, tasteless and tough (major minus points). Pork skin was silky, smooth but too little to save the food from a worse rating. Salted vegetables were chewy and not too salty. Rice was soft, fluffy and did not mix well with the watery braising sauce.

To sum up, their pork knuckle rice was average tasting and expensive. The owners are strongly advised to add more meat ingredients to their food and thoroughly review the rice cooking process. Honestly, I will not even recommend this stall to hardcore Thai cuisine fans.
