My opinion:

Xin Shi Dai means "new era" in Chinese. This Bedok North coffee shop specializes in Singapore fried food. For this review, my mother and I have tried their white fried carrot cake for breakfast.

As we opened up our takeaway packet, the fragrance of the food immediately "attacked" our noses. There were huge satisfying chunks of egg ingredients in our food portion. The carrot cake was addictive, delicious, well fried and one of the least oily that we have tasted in recent years (major plus points). After we finished our food, there were strong cravings for more fried carrot cake and almost no sick or "sinful" feeling.

In conclusion, the food here was economical, heavenly and shiok. If you are a fried carrot cake fan, bookmark this webpage so you will not miss out on this rare Bedok food "diamond".

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

They are strongly applauded for their service to local residents and are advised to continue their good work. I will also visit them regularly to check for consistency.
