My opinion:
Ah Ngeow Cooked Food was once known as Ah Ngeow Western Food. It had been moving around the eastern regions of Singapore before settling down at Bedok Corner Food Centre a few years ago. In recent years, Ah Ngeow Cooked Food has included traditional Singapore Zhu Chao food in their menu. I will do an in depth review on their signature chicken chops.
Their chicken chops are among the most juicy and tender that I ever tasted. Eating them are like treating my taste buds to a spa session. The meat sauce is delicious and thick but I prefer them to put lesser salt. A significant flaw in their chicken chops, are that they never supply bread or buns. The french fries are often cold and not crispy enough. On one occasion, I actually got rock hard fries!
If the owners improve on their fries and include one small bun for a takeaway chicken chop, they will most likely get 90/100. Maybe I should not complain too much because the food here are really affordable and this is the only stall in the entire food centre that sells Western food (monopoly).
