My opinion:

Yuan Xiang means "reunion fragrance" in Chinese. This coffee shop stall sells traditional Singapore vegetarian food. For this food review, I have tried their fried rice for lunch.

There were small amount of egg and almost no mock meat in my takeaway packet. Bean sprouts, green chili slices and tau kwa were considered "missing in action".

Rice was addictive, delicious, fragrant, well fried and not too oily or salty (major plus points). It was one of the best fried rice I had tasted in 2015. The red chili was robust, sticky, mixed flawlessly with the rice and greatly boosted the food's overall rating.

To sum up, the food here was tasty but too little to achieve greatness status. Unless you are a hardcore fan of fried rice and has a small appetite, my advice is to give this stall a miss and travel to nearby hawker centres for cheaper and tastier vegetarian food.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, introduce green chili slices to the food. Second, add more egg and mock meat ingredients to the food.
