My opinion:

Zhen Ji sells traditional Singapore fried bee hoon, fishball noodles, minced meat noodles, laksa, lor mee and nasi lemak. My mother and I have tasted their fishball and minced meat noodles for dinner.

We were given enormous amount of fish, pork and mee pok ingredients. This huge amount of food could satisfy the hunger of 2 young children. We were also not charged any additional cost for the takeaway container.

Sadly the food quality could not match the excellent food quantity. Fishballs were big, fresh and did not have a pungent smell or taste. Minced meat and pork meat were plentiful but too bland and plain tasting for our liking. Mee pok was dry, rough, sticky and did not mix well with the other food ingredients.

In a nutshell, the food here could satisfy our stomachs but not our craving for Chinese noodles. Unless you are a hardcore Chinese noodles fan, we will suggest you give this stall a miss and visit other alternatives in neighboring coffee shops.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

First, they should specialize in one or two signature dishes. Second, they are advised to review the mee pok preparation and production processes.
