My opinion:

Ji Xing means "auspicious" and "arising" in Chinese. This stall sells traditional Singapore chicken rice and roasted delicacies. I have tried their white cut chicken rice for lunch.

The owners were generous in giving out food ingredients. There were 12 pieces of chicken meat, 1 bowl of soup and moderate amount of rice in my food portion. Chicken meat was juicy, lean and tasty but a few portions had roughness issues.

Rice was delicious, well cooked and had mild chicken fragrance. Chili was a bit too sourish for rice meals. Soup was a bit oily, plain tasting and had a moderate salt taste. I would advise my blog readers to scoop up the top layer of the soup and dumped it away.

In conclusion, the food here was economical, fragrant, plentiful but had a few flaws that prevented the stall from greatness. If you are a chicken rice fan who is not too nit picky, Ji Xing's food should be able to satisfy your craving and hunger.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

They should review the preparation processes of the chili and soup.
