Reputation: Traditional Singapore Fishball Noodles and Minced Meat Noodles
Thoughts after eating: Fulfillment
Value for money: 79/100
Will I come back in 6 months' time? No, there are better alternatives
My opinion:
Heng Heng means "arising" or "good luck" in Chinese. The owners sell traditional Singapore Chinese noodles. For this food review, my mother and I have tried their fishball noodles for lunch.
We were happy and stunned when the owners gave us our food portions. There were 3 fishballs, 3 pieces of fish cakes, 1 meat ball, 1 bowl of minced meat soup and 1 plate of noodles. This huge amount of food could satisfy the hunger of 2 children.
Fish balls were bouncy, fresh and juicy. Fish cakes were too small sized and little to contribute significantly to the food's flavor. The lone meat ball was flavorful and tasty. Soup was bland and lacked pork meat sweetness. Customers could till use this average tasting soup as a healthier alternative to sweet syrup drinks.
The food's main weak point lied in the noodles as they were mild tasting and slightly too greasy. Red chili was either non-existent or too weak for noodles meals.

To sum up, the food here was economical, plentiful and had a few flaws that needed the owners' attention. Unless you are a hardcore Chinese noodles fan with a big appetite, our recommendation is not to buy more than 2 packets of their food.
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
First, review the soup's preparation process. Second, add more flavor to the noodles. Third, use a new kind of chili as the current version is really terrible.
