My opinion:

There are 2 food business in stall 40 of Tampines Round Market and Food Centre. They are Armenian Street Fried Kway Teow and Lao Chen Traditional Laksa. Both food business receive a rating higher than 92/100. In this blog post, I will do a review of Lao Chen Traditional Laksa.

I was given the $3.00 small option or the $4.00 large option for my takeaway laksa. I was very delighted to choose the $3.00 option because the owners were very generous in food ingredients. For that bargain price, I was given half an egg, 2 tau pok, 5 cockles, thin slices of fishcakes and huge amounts of thick rice noodles.

The laksa soup was flavorful and thick. It was almost impossible to find any significant flaw in their food. I highly applaud the female owner for her dedication, hard work and skill. If you are a laksa lover, you really need to try out this Tampines "diamond".
