My opinion:

Have you notice that all the Chinese noodles stalls in Tampines Round Market and Food Centre all have super long queues? This one is no exception as well. The noodles are springy and wantons have an addictive bite. The char siew have crispy edges and chicken feet are nicely braised. The noodles sauce is flavorful, tasty and thick. The spicy chili can be too hot at times.

I revisited the stall in recently. The standards have dropped considerably. Char siew was sold out when I arrived at around 12:30. They gave me chicken slices instead which were juicy and tender. Noodles and wantons were tasteless. Noodle sauce was too watery. I will forgive and forget this instance because Xing Ji has given me great service throughout the years.

Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:

Add some green chili slices to the food and make the noodle sauce thicker.
