My opinion:
Ju Ming Xiang means "accumulation of fame and fragrance" in Chinese. This Tampines hawker stall sells traditional Singapore Chinese noodles, kway teow soup and laksa. For this food review, my mother and I have tried their signature mushroom minced meat noodles for lunch.
The owners were super generous in giving out ingredients. Besides mee kia, there were 1 fish cake, 1 meat ball, 6 pork liver slices and enormous amount of minced meat (the most generous in Singapore east).
Mee kia was silky smooth and well cooked. Although noodle sauce was flavorful and had a traditional taste, it was too watery and did not mix well with the mee kia. Pork liver slices were tasty and not too rough. Minced meat was addictive, juicy and gave us a huge sense of satisfaction every time our tongues "devoured" them.
In conclusion, the food here was economical, plentiful and satisfying. If you are a fan of minced meat noodles, Ju Ming Xiang should be high on your "food pilgrimage list".
Ways for the owners to improve their food ratings:
Make the noodle sauce thicker.
