My opinion:

My mother and I visited Tampines Round Market and Food Centre on Monday morning and found that more than half the stalls were closed. In the end, we visited Toh Ayah Nasi Padang and tried out their mee rebus and mee siam.

The first mistake this stall made was packing the noodles together with the gravy or soup. The second mistake was the small serving of gravy or soup for mee rebus and mee siam. The third mistake was that the mee rebus noodles were too soft. The fourth mistake was that the mee siam soup was sweet and not spicy (something we never expected from a Malay stall). The nasi padang food items here were average at best. If you are not a Muslim living in Tampines, we will suggest that you give this stall a miss.
